A story from my father
Posted on
Recently, my father (retired captain) shared a story from his time as a young pilot in the Air National Guard. Throughout his extensive career, he flew various missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and South America. Specifically, he operated KC-10s for refueling and C-130s for cargo transport.
This story from his career revolves around his suspicion that he might have unknowingly transported parts for a drug lab on behalf of the U.S. Government in South America. He and his buddy were constantly shuttling supplies to the same location, and what raised suspicions was the classified nature of the cargo, which was unusual given safety concerns. This incident occurred in the late eighties and early nineties during Pablo Escobar's era.
Personally, I don’t think that he transported parts for a drug lab, as it seems unlikely that the U.S. government would be involved in doing that. Maybe it was part of a different covert operation. I’d like to hear your guys’s thoughts on what he may have been transporting.
Edit: (Forgot to mention these parts were huge)
