So there I was, on USS Boat (CV-OlderThanMe), playing sailor in the Eastern Pacific. We were working up our gumption to go on a real cruise, aka "work ups."

So my Mom sends me a care package. You need to know my Mom at the time would hoard boxes of all shapes and sizes so she would always have the right sized box for whatever she was sending to someone.

When I got the care package in the large flat box and unwrapped it, I saw that it was a frying pan box and exclaimed "Oh cool! She got me a frying pan!"

Cue everyone in the shop looking at me like they I'm crazy.

So I open the box and start dragging out the geedunk my Mom sent and sharing it out with everyone.

Mmm. Geedunk.

The very next day, I get the second care package, that she sent a month after the first one, and it's in an identically shaped box.

I unwrap this one and see it's an identical frying pan box. And I exclaim "Oh cool! She got me a frying pan!"

And everyone else in the shop goes "Oh cool! She got you a frying pan!"
