Do we shut down Jun 12th-14th, reopening on June 15th, in order to protest the changes being made to reddit API?

BEFORE YOU VOTE, READ THIS!
HERE is the link to the AMA from the CEO of reddit about this fiasco.
Now, before you vote, I just want to personally point out that other than the fact that some 3rd party apps are going away, you CAN still browse on mobile using a browser or the official app. Also, in my discussions on the Reddit Mod Council with admins, they hear our frustrations with the 3rd party apps and I think this whole backlash grew and evolved so fast it freaked them out. They (the admins I've been on calls with) genuinely do want to make it right and have plans to try and do that. I can't say more than that at the moment though.
Ultimately, I don't think the CEO is going to change his mind on the API pricing. But mod tools and non-commercial accessibility apps will continue to get free access to the API, and other tools are coming back online soon per the link above.
The situation is still fluid and very much changing hour to hour in some ways. I think things will be tense for a while until this is over. They did commit to NOT removing mod teams or banning accounts over a limited protest, so our jobs as moderators are safe.
Small edit: Some subs are going dark for only 48 hours, some (like us) are doing 72, and some are closing indefinitely. That is 100% NOT on the table for us. /r/MilitaryStories will reopen on 6/15/23 if the voting trend continues - and the majority of the mod team has said yes. So unless something changes drastically, expect us to be dark Monday morning.
Our ultimate goal is to keep /r/MilitaryStories SAFE and ENGAGING.
Be kind, and have a great day.
