Just read another post about a guy assaulting soldiers in a car.... even though they were probably 1 vs 4...

So we were conscripts at the time, been in for probably 6-7 months.

In our unit we had this tiny guy, probably of indian origin. He landed the cushy job of driving the company XO around most of the time, in the danish forces Gelendewagen (mercedes). A very robust little vehicle, but it shakes. Probably less than a humvee though. So there's that.

That job would land him so much good food, breaks and just relaxing.
Just about the same as my job as an HF operator, not counting all the fake signal issue breaks i put in. :D

Anyways we were driving home from a week long exercise, and our guy was driving the XO's car (without the xo) as the lead vehicle in the convoy. Due to the XO not being there, he was alone in the car.

We were all very tired, but almost home.

Then we come to a big intersection, and drive through a green light.

AND BAM....

A red car rams into his Gelendewagen, hitting it on the front axle right side.

Now the gelendewagen, is no modern heavy vehicle. But it is still solid and about 2.5 tons.

The mechanic later told us that the axle had bent a bit, that's all the damage it had.

But the red car, was totaled. The entire front was smashed up.

Now this is where this get fun.

See the red car driver, jumps out. Sees this tiny indian guy in army uniform, and starts just going off on him.

Then he goes quiet.

Then his face turns pure white.

Because he sees about 90 soldiers running towards him, very very fast.

And that's it. Nothing else happened.

But it's a memory that's still pictured in my mind to this day.
