Prior Service army want to go SFAS, but told I may have to redo OSUT (3rd time)

Hello, I'm a prior service 92y. In 2021 I reenlisted in the army but had to redo BCT due to my break in service. I went to infantry OSUT. At about week 18 I had a minor surgery (all healed and cleared for duty with paperwork to prove it).
I ended up being separated and said I could reenlist 6 months later. When I went to try and reenlist, the recruiter said I would have to redo OSUT (I was going...
Should I join the Army?

I was briefly in the army for 5-6. I finished basic but left cause my depression had reached an all time. Now fast forward a couple of years and my life has reached a low point. Living pay check to pay check and I’ve been contemplating on going back. Just wondering if I could get any advice on the army and helping me stay in if and when I go back. Would also like to know if it’s financially worth...
Possibly enlist with hemophilia and asthma?

As the title says I don't know if I could be able to join the Air Force with moderate hemophilia A and asthma. I have a friend who trying to enlist into the army with the same condition as I do and they did not let him in. Is there a possibility that I could enlist into the air force with these illnesses or is it futile?

Please Help
So I’m supposed to be going to the national guard this winter and I’ve been having second thoughts. People are telling me to go air guard and some are saying just go active duty, can someone help me figure it out??
I am 19, I don’t really plan on going to college but if it’s possible to have it paid for I don’t see why not. My only reason why going active wasn’t my first thought is...
What should I do in the Army as an Enlisted?
Posted on
After exhausting all my options, I’ve settled for the Army. I knew I wanted to travel in the military and help the family out with immigration, so that’s why I’m joining. I wanted to do fixed wing aircrew in any of the other branches, but Army is the only one waiving me, so I have to rethink my choices.
I developed an interest for tanks recently, but I don’t have as much extensive research on that...
Seafood allergy waiver?

I’m am an undergraduate student interested in commissioning and obtaining a pilot slot in the military through OTS/OCS (not particularly picky on what branch I fly in I’d go wherever I’m accepted).
However, when I was younger (under the age of 5) I had an allergic reaction to salmon (I vomited and was given Benadryl and was fine. I did not require epinephrine). After this reaction I got a skin...
What do I need to transition (MTF) in the reserves?

Hello, I would like to transition but I have not been able to find resources specific to my situation. I am in the reserves and most information I’ve been able to find is about transitioning before joining or while on AD.
I am currently in the reserves and I would like to make sure that everything is set up for me to start right away once I come out to my command, but I’m not sure what I’ll need.
...24M, Is enlisting going to help me get my life back?

I'm 24 now. Kicked out of my parents house at 18, worked odd jobs while in college, dropped out recently and started feeling lost and without purpose. I've been considering joining the military to get back whatever resemblense of purpose I can, learn some discipline and hopefully get my life back.
Air Force is the main branch I've been intersted in looking at. Spent a large majority of my life...
Best branch to join if I want to go into conservation or medicine?

I'm 19, female, have a GED, planning on going to college, and I have a great aptitude for biology but I'm bad at chemistry. I don't want to go into combat, yelling scares me, and I have severe motion sickness. My state also has a state military thingy that I was looking at.

AFQT score and ASVAB score differences?

I took the afqt a month ago. I’m 28 and haven’t been in a classroom since I was 20. I told the recruiter I spoke to i don’t want to do anything until early November, I just wanted a realistic idea of if the waiver I would need would have a chance to be approved or not. She said it wouldn’t be a problem, and said I just needed to take the afqt that day to see how I’d do at least from that...
