Hi all, posting to see if anyone has experienced similar issues with the savage mk ii .22LR. I was having some fun shooting this evening practicing and getting ready for squirrel season and started having an intermittent issues with my savage mk ii. On occasion, when inserting a full magazine I would find that it would unload itself, usually about half the mag out of the chamber after insertion. It most often happened with the bolt open. But I’ve also experienced it when inserting a mag on a closed bolt, and then when the bolt is pulled back it can do it as well.

Long story short. I was about to order some spare mags, but decided to come here first to see if anyone had suggestions for aftermarket vs factory mags. Or if there is a solution to this issue.
