On Thursday, in London the US and Ukraine signed the Concept on development of Partnership between Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and Department of Defence of the United States for five years.

“This document will enhance the defence reform of Ukraine and implement the programs of bilateral cooperation, contribute to transfer of military equipment, services provision and personnel training,” Stepan Poltorak commented.

The concept will enhance the Ukraine’s defences, ensure effective reforms within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and allow for more cooperation.

“The Ukrainian strategic choice is a stated wish of our people, our acceptance of key democratic values. The Ukrainian military will undergo development and achieve military criteria to join NATO and integrate into the European security community,’ the Ukraine’s Defence Minister stressed.
