Ukrainian company “Motor Sich” creates the first flying prototype of the new helicopter MSB-2, according to the portal “Ukraine Industrial”. On the basis of the Soviet multipurpose helicopter Mi-2 helicopter created a completely new with tactical and technical indicators.

MSB-2 helicopter with the mass of 4 tonnes and better performance thanks to powerful but fuel-saving engines AI-450M made by the Ukrainian company Motor Sich. In addition to the engines the new model will get new fuel tanks on an external sling, modifications of the main body using a large number of composite materials and other design solutions. The new helicopter will be able to seat 8-9 people at a price 2-2.5 times lower than European competitors.
