The United Arab Emirates will help to strengthen Ukrainian army defense capability. During “IDEX-2015” in Abu Dhabi cooperation agreements were reached by UKROBORONPROM representatives.
Parties identified strategic directions of further military-technical cooperation, to bring it to a new level.

According to UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov, those countries Ukraine signed agreements on military cooperation with, will actively assist Ukrainian defense industry in import substitution. “Import substitution is one of the basic tests our enterprises have to pass. During the exhibition, our representatives negotiated with partners who can deliver us constituent parts we need to help our country in this difficult time “, – said Roman Romanov.

Ukrainian booth aroused great interest among the representatives of other companies and foreign delegations at “IDEX 2015”. UKROBORONPROM represented specimens of armored personnel carriers BTR-3E1 and “Dozor-B.” About 20 units of UKROBORONPROM products of all the branches of the military-industrial complex were represented at “IDEX 2015”.

Strategic goal of Ukraine and UKROBORONPROM in particular, is cooperation with the leading countries in the arms market, to accelerate successful army rearmament and contribute to transition of Ukrainian defence sector to international standards.
