The FNSS Savunma Sistemleri (FNSS) with BAE Systems are undertaking the modernisation of Saudi M113 armoured personnel vehicles at the Saudi Arabian Ground Forces High Command’s Al-Kharj Maintenance and Modernization facilities in Al Kharj.

The Minister of National Defence of Turkey Fikri Isik, that Turkish defense company modernizing armored vehicles in Saudi Arabia has completed projects worth of more than $ 1 billion.

According to information from sources, Turkish company also modernizing VCC-1 TOW anti-tank missiles systems. The VCC-1 TOW is a special version of  M113 converted by Italian company for the Saudi Arabian Army. The VCC-1 anti-tank missiles systems with the licence-built TOW Under-Armour (TUA) turret.

Total 200 VCC-1 TOW anti-tank missiles systems were exported to Saudi Arabia.
