Serbia is set to upgrade Kub mobile surface-to-air missile systems

On February 16, the Serbian Defence Minister, Aleksandar Vulin, announced that his country is looking to upgrade its Kub mobile surface-to-air missile systems
Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubisa Dikovic, visited with an inspection the unit of air defense forces within the Air Force and Air Defense of the Armed Forces of Serbia. During a visit, the Defence Minister said that the Serbian Armed Forces will soon receive Kub mobile surface-to-air missile systems upgraded by Serbian Yugoimport company.

No details of an upgrade have been presented, but a local source reported that Kub will be equipped with the new television, digital moving target indicators, new multifunctional indicator, a new digital indicator as well as a digital system for automatic antenna direction.

This upgrade is intended to increase the efficiency of destruction of the enemy aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, cruise missiles etc.
