Belgrade-based company EDePro publicly displayed its new combat variant of  Strsljen unmanned helicopter at the UMEX 2018 exhibition in UAE.

The Strsljen (Hornet) is an autonomous rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle that can provide reconnaissance, surveillance, situational awareness, electronic warfare, aerial fire support and precision targeting support for ground, air and sea forces. EDePro has revealed at the UMEX 2018 exhibition a weaponised unmanned aerial vehicle.

The Strsljen unmanned combat helicopter is equipped to fire anti-tank missiles from weapon pylons and can be armed with a 12.7mm machine gun. Also, the helicopter is designed to carry a various payload such as radar systems, radar confusion transmission, surveillance equipment (color TV camera, low light level TV camera, thermal imaging camera, laser target designation).

The unmanned helicopter is powered by Turbo shaft Phoenix-180 engine, enables the air vehicle to achieve cruise and maximum speeds of up to 160 km/h and a maximum flight speed of 180km/h. The platform has an overall length of 8,75 m, a maximum take-off weight of 750 kg, a ceiling of 4,000 m.

The drone can fly for up to four hours with maximum fuel.
