Russian «Pytlivy» guard ship of the Black Sea Fleet left for the Mediterranean Sea. The Pytlivy guard ship of the Black Sea Fleet left Sevastopol under the command of I rank Captain Dmitry Dobrynin and laid course to the Mediterranean Sea.
Crew of the guard ship is to perform tasks under the command of the permanent task formation of the Russian Navy under planned rotation in this region.
Currently, more than 15 ships, motor boats and support vessels of the Northern, Baltic and Black Sea Fleets are operating in the Mediterranean grouping.
The Burevestnik M-class guided missile frigate Pytlivyy were a series of frigates built for the Soviet Navy. These ships are commonly known by their NATO reporting name of Krivak and are divided into Krivak I,Krivak II (both navy), and Krivak III (coast guard) classes.
