The Russian Federal Security Service buy new Urban Assault Vehicles based on «Tigr» multipurpose infantry mobility vehicle manufactured by GAZ.
This new version has protections against mines and further armor. Assault version «Tigr» is ideally suited for tactical missions such as scouting, patrol, convoy escort and command and liaison.
For the first time spotted new Russian Urban Assault Vehicles during an operation in Dagestan spotted new Armored Assault Vehicle for Federal Security Service.
The GAZ Tigr is a Russian 4×4, multipurpose, all-terrain infantry mobility vehicle manufactured by GAZ, first delivered to the Russian Army in 2006. Primarily used by the Russian Federation’s armed forces, it is also used by numerous other countries and organizations.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) is a federal executive body with the authority to implement government policy in the national security of the Russian Federation, counterterrorism, the protection and defence of the state border of the Russian Federation, the protection of internal sea waters, the territorial sea, the exclusive economic zone, the continental shelf and their natural resources, ensuring the information security of Russia and exercising the basic functions of the federal security services specified in the Russian legislation, as well as coordinating the counterintelligence efforts of the federal executive bodies that have the power to do so.
