The Russian Defense Ministry has signed a contract with JSC “United Aircraft Corporation” to build aircraft tankers based on the Il-96-400TZ.

In accordance with the terms of the contract for the Russian Armed Forces will be built and transferred to two new IL-96-400TZ.
