Zelenodolsk plant in Tatarstan has completed an order for the construction of two frigates of Project 3.9 “Gepard” (Project 11661) for the Vietnamese Navy, the official representative of the company Rafis Fatykhov told told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

“Zelenodolsk plant is the constructor of two frigates of Project 3.9 for the Vietnamese Navy, today, the order has already been completed, then the installation of weapons,” – said Fatykhov.

Frigates Project 3.9 is an export version of Project 11661 escort ships, produced at the Zelenodolsk plant in Tatarstan
