Qatar received batch of new Ejder Yalcin armoured vehicles from Turkey

Qatar displayed for the first time it’s recently delivered Ejder Yalcin 4×4 tactical armoured combat vehicles designed and manufactured by the Turkish company Nurol Makina at the Qatar National Day Parade in Doha.
According to the local media, Qatar ordered approximately 400 Ejder Yalçın 4×4 armored combat vehicles produced by Nurol Makina Sanayi (NMS) equipped with Aselsan’s SARP-DUAL remotely controlled weapon stations.
Qatar became the third well-known foreign buyer of the Ejder Yalçın family vehicles after Tunisia and Uzbekistan.
The Ejder Yalcin is an armoured vehicle with high-ballistic protection based on a V-shaped hull.

According to the Nurol Makina, the vehicle has proven itself in the operational areas and it offers special solutions to the different operational requirements of users with customizations such as; Border Surveillance and Security Vehicle, Air Defence Vehicle, Reconnaissance Vehicle, Command and Control Vehicle, Mine/IED Detection-Clearence Vehicle, Combat Vehicle, Personnel Carrier, CBRN Surveillance Vehicle, Tactical Missile Carriage/Launch System and Armored Ambulance.

Ejder Yalçin is fitted with a Cummins engine which produces a maximum power of 300hp at 2,100rpm. The engine is coupled to fully automatic transmission with hydrodynamic torque converter.
Ejder Yalçin has a maximum speed of 110km/h and a cruising range of 600km.
