Photos: New Iranian Mohajer-6 unmanned combat aerial vehicles

The Mohajer-6 is the last generation of Mohajer family drones which are designed by Ghods UAV Industries company and produced by Iranian Aircraft Manufacturing Industries (IAMI) since 1981.

Mohajer-6 UCAV is designed and manufactured on basis of lessons learnt from Drone operations in Iraq and Syria during the war against ISIL/ DAESH.

Mohajer-6 UCAV is now a complementary UCAV for the Shahed-129 Medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle. Mohajer-6 has lesser range and flight endurance with ability to carry only two Qaem IR/ TV-Guided smart bombs while Shahed-129 with longer range can carry four Sadid smart bombs.

As usual, IRGC has budget and financial capability to procure a large number of Iranian made drones. Yesterday, during an official ceremony the first batch of ten Mohajer-5 UCAVs with 100 Qaem Smart bombs were handed over IRGC-Ground Force. IRGC Navy is the second customer of the drone with an order for 30 examples!
