New PF2 armoured personnel carriers spotted at Port Harcourt in Nigeria

The batch of new PF2 armoured personnel carriers was spotted at Port Harcourt ( capital and largest city of Rivers State) in Nigeria. That was reported by www.trezzyhelm.com.
The six armoured personnel carriers are believed to have been bought by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for security agencies in the state. It was spotted as it arrived Port Harcourt on Monday, 19 September.
The PF2 armoured personnel carrier developed by Proforce Limited. The entire personnel compartment of Proforce Pf2 is imbued with ballistic protection to BRV 2009 VR7, 7.62×51 NATO Ball and all lesser threats, to include AK47 7.62×39 Soft Core to the vertical surfaces and roof at 90 deg. to the material.
Proforce APCs also are also engaged in light battles by the Army, police patrol and surveillance, military ambulance due to the versatility and ruggedity, which cannot be overemphasized. Protection has been integrated to NIJ standard III/CEN B6 with Anti-blast protection against Land mines, hand grenades, IEDs, etc.
In Nigeria, the Pf2 and Pf3 have been supplied to OSUN State Government for the use by the Police in combating Armed Robbery in the State.
