Myanmar to Buy Chinese-Pakistani FJ-17 Fighter Jets

Myanmar will become the first country to buy JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, jointly manufactured by Pakistan and China companies, revealed the TV channel Dunya News.
According to the news network, the authorities of that Asian nation will acquire 16 of these jets, but the total figure could exceed two dozen.Pakistan, which already has in its air force some of those aircrafts, will also provide services for the maintenance of these devices, the source added.
National media recently announced that Sri Lanka would buy a lot of those planes, but officials from that nation denied the existence of that agreement.The JF-17 Thunder is a lightweight fighter jet developed by Chengdu Aircraft Industries Corporation of China, and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.
