Japan receives its first AAV-7 assault vehicles

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force of Japan (JGSDF) buy up to 30 AAV-7 assault vehicles (also used by the US Marines) for its emerging amphibious brigade. February 9, 2015 (Monday), in Fuji garrison (Shizuoka Prefecture), has been reported publish amphibious vehicles (AAV7).
The Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV)—official designation AAV-P7/A1 (formerly known as Landing Vehicle, Tracked, Personnel-7 abbr. LVTP-7)—is a fully tracked amphibious landing vehicle manufactured by U.S. Combat Systems (previously by United Defense, a former division of FMC Corporation) and FNSS Defence Systems.
