In Ukraine, began testing a modernized version of IFV-1

UKROBORONPROM will overhaul and put into serial production Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV-1) to increase mobility, build up armaments and ensure protection of the military, engaged in the ATO in Eastern Ukraine.

IFV-1 is a high mobility armored track vehicle, designed to transport infantry into battle and support them there. This vehicle allows delivery of fire during its motion. Infantry Fighting Vehicle easily overcomes water obstacles and can be transported by air. UKROBORONPROM State Enterprise “Zhytomyr Armoured Fighting Vehicle Plant” has already started working on IFV-1combat module equipment, which corresponds to the highest standards and has a good battle field potential.

State Enterprise “Zhytomyr Armoured Fighting Vehicle Plant” has started working 3shifts to fulfill the Ministry of Defence state order on armor maintenance. State Enterprise organized mobile maintenance crews for immediate military hardware and equipment repair and overhaul in the ATO zone.
