The Mexican Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Mexicana – FAM) has received its first Bell Helicopter 407GX aircraft, a company spokesperson confirmed to Shephard.

It is the first aircraft to be delivered out of a total of 15 aircraft ordered by the FAM earlier this year.

The new Bell 407GXs will join a fleet of helicopters operated by the Mexican Air Force, including Bell 412EPs, Bell 212s and Bell 206s.
