Elbit Systems Land & C4I presented the latest configuration of its SOLTAM ATMOS (Autonomous Truck Mounted hOwitzer System) truck-mounted 155 mm self-propelled artillery system at Eurosatory 2014 defence show.

Although ATMOS was seen mounted on a 6×6 Tatra Export T816-7 series high-mobility chassis, the weapon system can be fitted to a 6×6 or 8×8 chassis.

ATMOS incorporate semi-automatic loading system, inertial navigation system, muzzle velocity radar and onboard fire control unit. It is available with a standard unprotected cab, or an optional protected cab with climate control system and NBC protection solution. ATMOS is offered with 39 or 45 calibre ordnance. The weapon system is fielded by a number of armies including by Uganda.
