Volvo Group Governmental Sales (VGGS) comprising Renault Trucks Defense, ACMAT Defense,Panhard Defense, Volvo Defense and Mack Defense, announced the 1000th ALTV (Light Tactical Vehicle) lightweight multi-purpose tactical vehicle rolled off the production line.

The ALTV vehicle produced by ACMAT Defense has been sold to more than twenty countries since 2009. The 1000th unit is to be delivered before the end of the year.

The ALTV comes in single and double cabin pick-up, torpedo, command car, checkpoint and station wagon versions, and can adapt to a variety of missions including troop transport, border surveillance, reconnaissance, patrol, ambulance duties, firefighting, vehicle recovery, cargo transport, armored car role, etc.
