Variously known as information warfare, network attack, e-warfare or cyberterrorism, depending on the context, cyberwarfare made headlines with Israel's 6 September raid on a presumed Syrian nuclear facility, in which the IAF disabled Syria's air defence system with cyberwarfare techniques.
