I have spent the last 5 years of my time in the Army working my ass off to meet the requirements of the Enlisted to Medical Degree Program so I could go to medical school. Did my time in a field unit, spending all weekend doing homework to maintain a 4.0 to be competitive.

I chose to reenlist so I could make the application cycle and acceptance time line. Finally got everything together but needed a Conditional Letter of Release to apply. Branch refused to sign it because they put me on orders. Told me good luck applying in 2025 after meeting my two years time on station, where my contact ends again.

I'll take a whole fifth of anything that will make it sting less.
