For perspective I’ve always worked in hands on, labor intensive jobs even before the army. I enlisted at 23 and am now 27. Over the last 2 months I recently noticed a pain deep in my right shoulder that persists constantly. I’ve had people ask about it and told me it’s likely a rotator cuff issue.

Should I potentially get surgery for this? What kinds of disability rating would I be looking at or a potential medboard?
