This is my great, great-uncle who served in WW1 (Manitoba, Canada). He lived until 1969, but never had kids. I know his birth date, full name, birthplace, etc. but how do I find his battalion ? Or records of his service? Thank you

Publishing questionable books and TS clearance

I sent my new novel to several (like 45+) publishers. It was pretty tough finding someone who either didn't think it sucked or that it was "not the kind of content [they] will endorse" (usually both). Well, one finally decided to give it a chance and I am excited. However, one thing I didn't think of was how it would affect my TS clearance when I switch jobs.

Am I the only one who sends text messages in the form of radio transmissions?
My reasoning is simple. At a time when we as people are communicating in text form more than ever, I’ve found it to be a concise and clear method that avoids miscommunication.
Examples include: “Send it” “Sit rep?” “Solid copy.”
