Defining green defence – the cross-border approach

International militaries have set ambitious environmental targets, most noticeably based around radical reductions in energy consumption, reliance on fossil fuels and carbon emissions. A recent conference between industry and the ministries of defence of France and Denmark highlighted that the green credentials of defence solutions can be defined in a far wider range of ways and an international context.
